January 16, 2020It seems almost commonplace anymore to reward bad habits. We go to a restaurant and get bad service, but we still tip 20%. We call the cable company and wait on hold as long as they want us to and then get an attitude…but we stick with them.
We make an application with a lender, we don’t hear back so we keep calling them…what’s wrong with this?? We need to start recognizing the signs of who is working for us and wants to earn our business. I see it in my industry all the time, something as simple as returning a phone call doesn’t happen but people will hold on, fingers crossed, hoping for the best. There are better options out there. You are worth a return phone call. Stop undervaluing yourself as a consumer and start insisting that lenders work hard for you!
